Glamorous Gem began with a young girl who adored wigs and hair extensions. Since the age of 11, I've been wearing human hair extensions. The reason was simple - convenience. My natural hair was great, but I had a sensitive scalp that couldn't stand the daily upkeep. Fortunately, my mom shared my love for extensions, making them accessible even at a young age. As time passed, my fondness for extensions grew, and as I got older, I started buying them myself.

Wigs used to be a no-go for me, mainly because I believed they were for older people and it looked “wiggy” at the time. However, things changed around 2016 when lace frontals wigs hit the scene, and I saw young girls like me wearing them on social media. I was intrigued because it literally looked like it was growing from their scalp. So, in 2017, I saved up to buy my first lace frontal wig, and that was a game-changer. It was so easy to put on, no need for a hairstylist every time. I was also relieved that I didn't have to damage my natural hair by using heat to blend it with extensions.

Admittedly, my first lace frontal wig was horrible. I didn't know much about good hair vendors back then, so I got stuck with a low-quality wig, even though I paid a decent amount. But I didn't give up. I embarked on a quest to find the perfect hair, exploring different vendors. There were many disappointments, but I persevered, seeking long-lasting quality. In 2021, I finally found some vendors that met my high standards. It was a journey, but the passion I developed for high-quality human hair wigs was worth it. That's when the idea to share this passion and offer top-notch hair took root. Glamorous Gem hair became a reality in 2023, born from a genuine love for the product and a dedication to quality. We've been through the trials of bad hair and wasted money, so we're here to be your beacon of hope, just like we found ours.
